Inspection Items In Yacht Hull

1. The inspection items of yacht hull are as follows:

(1) For fiber-reinforced plastic boats, check the hull structure and the appearance of the superstructure, and observe whether there are cracks, whitishness, and delamination;

(2) For metal boats, check the corrosion of the hull shell, deck, bulkhead, etc .;

(3) Check the tightness and integrity of the structure providing buoyancy inside the hull;

(4) Check whether there are any looseness or water seepage at various connections of the yacht hull;

(5) Check the integrity of weather tightness outside the hull, especially the effectiveness of the window frame and glass connection of the front window of the high-speed boat;

(6). Check whether the cabin ventilation is effective;

(7) Check the effectiveness of railings, handrails, passages, emergency exits, etc .;

(8) Check the configuration and effectiveness of fire fighting and life-saving equipment.

2. Yacht inspection and electrical inspection items are as follows:

(1), check the host and control system, and confirm that it is in good working condition;

(2) Check whether the oil tank, fuel tank, and fuel system are intact, and there should be no leakage;

(3) Check the bilge system and fire hoses and confirm that they are in good working condition;

(4) Check the integrity of anti-pollution facilities;

(5) Check whether the ventilation of the machinery space is effective;

(6) Check the safety of LPG installations and the use of gasoline;

(7) Check electrical equipment and cables (including damage or aging);

(8) Check the cable insulation resistance, overload protection device and grounding of electrical equipment;

(9) Check the configuration and effectiveness of navigation equipment, signal equipment, and radio communication equipment.

3. Inspection in the upper row/dock:

The inspection items in the upper row/dock are as follows:

(1) Check whether there is any crack, damage and corrosion degree on the hull plate below the waterline;

(2), check the integrity of rudder, rudder post, rudder bearing, Z-shaped propulsion device, propeller and its bearing, water jet propulsion, subsea valve box, and grille;

(3) Check whether the grounding plate on the boat shell is intact.
