Main Dimensions Of Aluminum Alloy Yacht

Friends who are new to aluminum alloy yachts only care about the length of the aluminum alloy yacht, and the width is rarely related to other data. Here are the main dimensions for popularizing the aluminum alloy yacht:

1. Overall length: the horizontal distance from the leading edge of the boat's preserved pillar to the ship's sealing plate or the trailing edge of the N-pillar, excluding detachable protrusions such as swimming platforms, outboard motors, and diagonal bracing that do not affect the structural integrity of the boat. It is necessary to consider the impact of the wharf on this scale when mooring.

2.Design waterline length: the horizontal distance between the waterline interface and the brittle column of the hull to the two points of the E seal plate.

3. Type width: the width of the boat, the horizontal distance from the outer edge of one rib to the other rib and the outer edge; for fiber-reinforced plastic boats, it is the large width between the outer surfaces of the hull. Whether the boat can safely pass through bridges and gates depends on this scale.

4. Freeboard: The vertical distance from the fully loaded waterline in the middle of the boat to the deck sideline. The higher the freeboard, the higher the reserve buoyancy and the better the safety performance.

5. Draft: the vertical distance from the waterline in the middle of the boat to the baseline of the bottom of the boat. The draught is divided into the draught with no load and the draught with a full load. If the draught is greater than the actual water depth, it will hit the rocks and run aground.

6. Depth: the vertical distance from the upper edge of the flat keel to the upper edge of the freeboard deck (deck boat) or the top of the sideboard (open boat) along the side of the boat at the midpoint of the captain; for fiber-reinforced plastic boats, The vertical distance from the lower surface of the flat keel to the upper edge of the freeboard deck (deck boat) or the top of the sideboard (open boat).
